About Us
The Progressive Alliance of Women (PAW), founded by Alysha Townsend and Lynn Dula, is a community-driven initiative committed to addressing the critical health and financial disparities that affect women, particularly during major health crises. PAW shares the mission of Fête en Pink: to raise awareness, provide support, and advocate for women's health while fostering a culture of care, compassion, and empowerment.

We aim to shine a light on the challenges women face, especially when it comes to accessing quality healthcare, financial resources, and essential support during times of health crises. PAW exists to ensure that women have the tools, knowledge, and connections they need to navigate these obstacles and emerge stronger on the other side.

In addition to advocating for women's health, PAW is dedicated to being a resource for existing nonprofit organizations that are already doing the hard work in our community. By collaborating with these organizations, we strengthen our collective ability to make a meaningful impact and support the women who need it most. Whether through partnerships, funding, or shared resources, PAW amplifies the efforts of those already on the ground, working toward sustainable change in women’s health and care.
