Join the Progressive Alliance of Women (PAW) for Month 2 of Budgeting Through the Battle: A Women’s Financial Wellness Journey—a continuation of our 10-month empowerment series designed to help women protect their financial stability and understand the systems meant to support them.
Month 2 focuses on insurance and assistance—areas that are often overlooked until it’s too late. Many women are underinsured, misinformed, or unaware of available support, leaving them vulnerable to financial hardship after illness, injury, or unexpected life events. This session provides foundational education to help participants recognize coverage gaps, ask better questions, and make more informed decisions.
In addition to insurance basics, this session introduces local and regional financial assistance programs and explains how to access support responsibly, realistically, and without shame.
